To make Boulevard Wheat Beer, you’ll need 2-row pale malt, wheat malt, Mt. Hood hops, Perle hops, and a hefeweizen ale yeast strain. You’ll also need water, and priming sugar (for carbonation).

First, mix your malts with 8 gallons of cold water in your brewing vessel to create an all-grain mash. Maintain a temperature of 152°F for one hour before sparging with hot water to obtain 6 gallons of wort. Bring the wort to a boil and add 1 oz of Mt. Hood hops followed by 1/2 oz of Perle hops. Boil for 60 minutes, then cool the wort to 70°F and transfer it to your fermenter.

Add your hefeweizen ale yeast strain and allow it to ferment at 68°F for two weeks until fermentation is complete. After fermentation, add priming sugar and bottle-condition the beer in 12 oz bottles or growlers for 2–3 weeks before serving chilled. Enjoy!
